So, I headed out to get some moon-rise shots. However, after I had hiked about half way to my goal, it dawned on me that I had forgotten my tripod. So, I decided to just get some video. This video is considerably longer than most of mine -- I generally keep them at 3 minutes or shorter, but this one is a whopping 6 minutes of meditative moon rise over the waves. All except the very last scene (showing the moon over the Japanese Bunker) were taken at the same little inlet, probably walking over an area no larger than 20 or 30 square feet.
If the video "skips" you may need to pause it and allow it to buffer a bit. If it jumps quickly to the end you may need to refresh the page.
Oh: And yes, the rock is as rough as it looks. Great for traction (slipping is generally not a danger at all), but unforgiving if one trips or does not watch for uneven areas which can scrape the legs up good!
