It's a GeoCache! I had heard of these things, but this is the first one I ever saw. For those of you who don't know about this, Geocaching is a free sport practiced by about 2 million folks world wide. According to their official website http://www.geocaching.com/ there are over 5 million geocaches spread all over the world. The folks who place the geocaches then enter GPS coordinates online. Participants then use their GPS's or cell phones to search for whichever geocaches interest them. Each cache has various little goodies (cheap toys and nick-nacks). The finder can take a toy or leave something or both. We were not looking for this, but Zac or Tom noticed it anyway.
Tom is looking at the log book, which allows finders to log entries as to when they found the box, where they are from, etc.
