And that gets us to Seaside Hotel Hilo, our home for the night. An interesting place in how spread out it is. Only 2 or 3 stories tall in most places, but long walks through several corridors, all with open air centers and lovely landscaping to get back to your room. Admittedly that can get to be a bit of a pain with your luggage and all, but it was really nicely done and made for a relaxing stroll from the front desk to our room. Reasonably priced. I would recommend this place with one caveat: Just behind our room was apparently some sort of a night club with very loud, live music. Not bad to listen to, unless you want to get to sleep before 2 AM or so. Might be wise to take some ear plugs. On the other hand, if you are in the mood for the live music nightclub scene, this may be just the place!
