SARAH MOORE POCKET PARK
Sarah Moore was the librarian at our public school when I went there. She also was instrumental in working to create and maintain the local city (Delphian Club) library. She is one of the many people whom I have taken for granted, but who probably made a lot more of a difference for our community (and perhaps for me personally) than what I could possibly imagine. Way back when I was in elementary school I thought she was old (She was probably considerably younger than I am now, I would bet), and I have no idea when she died (I think several years prior to the 2006 Pocket Park dedication). What a nice little remembrance, indeed!
