  • One of the fun parts of this place is to watch all the water spouts....and to feel the air rushing up through the coral.
  • To the north. Mark loves to lead me over the steep coral cliffs. We will be in the mouth (to the right of the photo before long)
  • This is the northern view taken from the mouth. Mark has gone down into the flats that you are looking at. Didn't feel safe for my skill so we didn't go on this day, but he says it's beautiful w/ cuts that one can wade in. I'll leave that to others.
  • But I did follow him into this cave that is perched on the side of this cliff.
  • It had many rooms, several DEEP holes (est 40') and so many designs in the walls, ceiling and floors.
  • haunting spirits resided there in.....I'm sure of it. Or maybe it was just my imagination. Actually, it felt pretty clear.
  • There were small chunks of metal on the floor from probably WWII. Pieces of glass from more recently, but quite old.

  • No way to capture the feel, is there?
  • The dome was quite high
  • ready to exit? Notice the double orb between the openings.

  • would've made a great hide out, or even living space for fishermen. Had a Noni tree at the entrance
  • interesting colors.....there were purple growths? inside along some of the stones.....I saw them BEFORE I decided to get out my camera
