  • While I have a lot of respect for the ingenuity of some of our local fishermen, I do wish they would pick up after themselves. Granted, most of this little hut was constructed of materials likely already littering the landscape, but no-doubt some of it (like the roof, I would think) was carried out here for this. At the time of this photo the little hut had been abandoned for a few days. Now (I am writing this June 5, 2012) it is all broken down and scattered. I guess I should go carry the stuff away myself, but this is pretty remote, requiring a hike over lots of jagged old limestone to take it out, and whenever I'm there I generally have several pounds of camera gear on me. If people would just pick up after themselves it would be MUCH better.
  • It does give some composition opportunities for photos and videos.
  • On the walk over the old limestone, this is the first "cut" one comes to.

  • Suicide Cliff to your left in the far background. The little fishing "hut" in the nearer background. This inlet extends into the first cut.

  • From the east side of the first cut.
  • On over a bit further east is a "Second Cut." The waves actually tend to be more frequent and larger here than at the first cut.
