  • Everyone looks all fresh and ready for the day!
  • Allison shows how my gloves are way too small for her hands.
  • Hidden Beach Cave One.
  • Making the dash between Hidden Beach Cave 1 and Cave 2.
  • Selfie.
  • Everyone standing just outside Cave 2. Waiting to see if I come back out alive before they venture in.
  • Sitting in Cave 2. There is an underwater opening to the open ocean, so the waves come roaring in beneath you. Occasionally they splash up around you.
  • These boulders are challenging for me, but for Allison I think it's just like another dance number.
  • As you can see, Hidden Beach is the ultimate in solitary seclusion......<br /> <br /> Looks like the fellow to the right thinks he is in a soccer game.
  • I felt badly about Lindsey and Allison having to fit into the small back of my Ford Escape. But then I remembered that they fold themselves into boxes which appear to be about the size of small shoe boxes while on stage at the Sand Castle -- and then they get large swords stabbed through the area they apparently occupy. I figured that this was likely not too much of a challenge (especially since I didn't bring my swords today).
  • Trekking to Honeycomb Caves.
  • Getting ready to enter the Honeycomb Cave 1 (We didn't do Cave 2 today: Save it for later).
  • Jess shows excellent balance and poise as she enters the cave only to have me take a flash photo right in front of her eyes.
  • Kaitlin has the look of accomplishment and determination as she enters the underworld chamber.

  • Rhonda enters the end chamber (or at least the furthest into the cave I have ever been).
  • Time to sit around a bit, have some refreshment, and recuperate prior to the climb back out.
  • Here we are at a different cave: Kalabera. There is no ladder at Honeycomb. As you can see, there is a large one at Kalabera (most of the rungs are behind the stalagmite formation). Great group to have an outing with. I hope to join y'all more in the future!
