• Plumeria
• Chris looks down at the brave among us who just passed through the Dragon's Tunnel.
• Danielle coming through Dragon's Tunnel (for more of Dragon's Tunnel, see http://www.optimimagery.com/CNMI-ON-LAND/SAIPAN-2014/MAY-9-2014-EL-TORO-THROUGH-THE/39376426_7gP44N )
• Taking a break at the first "cave." Shade is a bit scarce down here in the middle of the afternoon.
• Chris examines a bullet at the main El Toro cave. Also, notice all the shoe soles on the rock. I have no idea why there are so many of them. They seem to be something left here considerably after the war.
• Yep, that's a WW II grenade Chris is looking at here, along with broken glass and other odds and ends.
• Chris casts his flashlight on some bones. These are likely human bones, but I'm not sure.
• Danielle enjoys another of the rare shady spots. And what a view!
• Heading back out. Your can see Managaha island on the horizon (and a readiness ship slightly to the left of Managaha).
• A few years prior to me moving here, this was a jumping and happening place. La Fiesta Mall was on it's way out when I moved here (probably less than 30% occupied at the time). It closed down shortly thereafter. Plans for it have included everything from establishing a college here to making it into an "Adult" entertainment complex (you can imagine the reception of THAT idea by the residents around here). But basically it has just been neglected and allowed to run down. Now it would likely be totally cost-prohibitive to do anything with it.

• While it had dilapidated a bit before I ever saw it, I think this place used to be quite classy.
• Lindsey looks up through some of the broken glass in the same structure that you saw in the previous photo.
• Lindsey, Chris, and Victoria.

• Wow! These graffiti artists can really show their ignorance! I mean, notice the comma.......
