Definitely not one of my best, but hey, I trekked up there and took shots, so I couldn't resist working them up into at least one finished photo. Oh, and yes, I "cheated" on the moon: In the photo, it's exactly where it was when I was shooting, but I finished the evening by taking telephoto shots of the moon and then Photoshoping the larger moon in place. As you may know, there is a universal illusory phenomenon, poorly understood by scientists (or anyone else for that matter), which makes the moon appear larger when it is seen in "real life" near the horizon. That illusion does not tend to carry over to photographs. So, in my opinion, this photo looks much more like how you would have perceived it if you had been with me than what it would have if I had not dinked it with Photoshop. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the photo.
