• Ali and Amber look down onto the churning water of the Spotlight Cave skylight. There is a cave beneath with an underwater opening to the open sea. As waves lurch at the area of the underwater cave opening, it creates a mesmerizing dancing pattern of the water in this hole. If you are curious as to what that may look like (from underneath), take a look at the second half of the following gallery: http://www.optimimagery.com/THE-UNIVERSE-BENEATH/FUN-DIVES-AND-DIVE-BUDDIES/Banzai-and-Spotlight-Cave/8379517_rFZPqp
• Amber and Ali descended down a little passageway. See them looking back at us?
• Heading back toward the vehicles.
• Now we are on Banzai Cliff, about to take a trail down to the parking area you see below -- probably about 500 feet down.
• We made it all the way down. Jason and Amber make new friends easily, as you can tell.
• Ali in the Last Command Post. This is where the Japanese holed up until the very last, in their attempt to turn the Americans back. As you can see, it would have taken some pretty powerful explosives to blast through this concrete.
• Can you find Jason sitting below?
