Starting down the trail.  Just a few feet from the parking area is this cool formation.  The diagonal bar to your right is a rail from the old Saipan Sugar Train, used to gather sugar cane during the Japanese time and deliver it to one of the largest sugar refineries of the time.  I'm not sure how close to this the Sugar Train actually ran, but it was probably not too far away.<br />

  • There are a few short caverns opening up to the trail.
  • A tall column near the trail.
  • Heading back up toward the car.  This is the same formation shown in the first photo, but from below.
