I DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I'm looking AWAY from the sun, and I see what appears to be sunrays, CONVERGING as they pass from the sky to the Earth (they were more obvious "in person" than they are in the photo, but look closely and you will see them). I understand the anticrepuscular phenomenon, where sunrays appear to converge as they extend toward infinity in the sky. But these were not passing to infinity, as you can see in the photo. I watched for a while, wondering if these may be patches of rain, but they did not appear to be (there is no disturbance on the water beneath them, and it would take a totally weird wind pattern to cause the rain to come at such angles). As you can tell by looking at the horizon, this is not a lens-distortion thing (I saw it BEFORE looking through the camera: That's why I put the camera to my eye in the first place). If anyone can explain, please do so in the comment box below! Thanks!
