PRAYING FOR A SAFE JOURNEY PRIOR TO HEADING BACK UP THE TRAIL

Someone put a fair amount of work into erecting this little "beach chapel." As far as I could tell, it is all (including the stitch fibers) from natural things collected on the beach.

  • Not as much wildlife as we see here sometimes, but still refreshing fun. Bev did see a small shark, but I was not able to get it on photo or video (they tend to be shy around here).

  • BIRD ISLAND BEACH
  • There is a small "cave" (actually just a small "room" in the cliff). I'm not sure whether it is natural or was perhaps made during WW II as a Japanese bunker.
