  • SWIMMING OUT TO THE TANKS
  • There are 2 Sherman Tanks in our lagoon. From what I have been told, they are there as a result of a screw-up in reading tide charts during the U.S. invasion here.
  • I have heard that there were several more of these tanks at one time, but all except for 2 were removed after WW II. The 2 were left as a memorial.
  • The over-under shots are a bit more of a challenge than I expected, but it is fun.
