SEPTEMBER 28, 2020: BIRD ISLAND OVERLOOK IN 3D
Do you know how to access your very own built-in Virtual Reality viewer? If you can make yourself cross your eyes and see double when you do, then you actually have one! As you look at these photos, cross your eyes until you see 3 photos (The one on your left will be seen by your left eye, the one on your right will be seen by your right eye, and the middle one -- which will actually consist of 2 photos combined -- will be seen by both). Now, give yourself some time to concentrate on the middle picture and allow your focus to relax. Many people find that it takes some practice, but before you know it you will see striking and dramatic 3D, just like looking through the old "Viewmasters" (for those of us of a certain age) or today's "Virtual Reality" goggles.

If you believe that you have good ability to use both eyes together and yet you can not get the 3D appearance, you may want to see your optometrist to find out why.
Even though you may find viewing this type of 3D photo tiring at first, you can actually become more skillful and relaxed at it by practicing. You may be surprised then at how much less fatigue you will experience during visually-intensive tasks such as using computers for extended periods of time.
