  • Welcome to Saipan, Mario! Good to see you two TOGETHER!
  • Dennis and Judy in one of their contemplative moments.
  • Mario brought some wonderful tomatoes from San Diego, which ended up in some wonderful salsa! Hey, Mario: I'm ready for more!
  • Atsuko and her salsa-loving dogs.
  • Dennis shows us the proper way to light a pre-pressed Pine Mountain log.
  • Here is the log about 15 seconds after Dennis lit it........
  • ......and here it is about 30 seconds later.
  • Now for the secret: Start with a processed fire log AND add lighter fluid! Guess that's why I never made it to Eagle Scout.
  • Well, I guess you can't argue with success!
  • But you can share a coconut by the fire.
  • Mark laughs as Tammy gets her toe stuck in a wine bottle (just kidding).

  • Ken Pierson flew in about the time the fire was raging at its best.
  • Friends, firelight, and shadows. Life is good.
  • Carrie and Kirk also arrived early enough to enjoy Dennis' fire.
  • I guess Ken decided that the best way to enjoy the fire was to stick his hand into it.
  • Crystal and Ken Pierson. Both dentists. I guess you could say a paradox by fire light. ("Pair a' doc's by fire light," in case you didn't get it). <br /> <br /> Of course, I'm sure that you WOULDN'T say that, but you could.
  • Wow! I don't remember anything THIS serious the whole night!<br /> <br /> Well, this is how we welcomed Mario to Saipan . <br /> Hey, Mario, I'm looking forward to seeing you in August!
