Back in the first cave, on our way out. May as well pause and watch the tourists for a bit longer.....

  • First scene: Starting into the first cave. There is a big "window" to the right about half way through the cave. As the scene zooms back you'll see where it appears that the cave goes back to an end (where it's dark). There is actually another hole at the far end of the cave (through that dark area -- it's not really that dark when you are there). Starting with the second scene, we are in the far opening (the one through the darkness) looking at the area between the two caves. You can see the second cave to the left of the rope figure hung on the cliff side.<br /> <br /> For the last scene, we are closer to the second cave.
  • Between the two caves. First cave is to my right, second one is to my left.
  • We are near the second cave here. As the scene pans to the right, you will eventually see the second end of the first cave.
  • The second cave has an opening to the water, so you can watch the water action of the waves. Pretty dark in the shadows, which gave my camera a bit of a challenge. You may notice a red and a blue dot on some of the darker scenes. Those are from my camera sensor and were not actually in the cave.
  • Japanese and Korean tourists love to stand out on the wedding-cake-shaped rock and get their photos taken as the waters ascend into the air behind them and just before the waves crash onto them.

  • I have no idea the significance (or lack thereof) of the rope figure.

  • All the previous photos and videos were taken May 23. This photo and all from here on to the end were taken on June 20. Here we are entering the first cave again. You see the window to your right. You get a better idea in this photo how the cave does not end after the curve, but that there is another opening around the bend.
  • Here, you can get an idea of how things can change from one time to the next.
  • Much rougher waters today.

  • This is a panorama of several shots, starting with the far exit (to your left) and looking out the window toward the Crocodile Rock. The entrance to the cave is behind us.
  • Now we are outside the cave on the beach. The caves are to my left. I came down here to see what the water in the second cave might look like in the morning (with the sun perhaps highlighting the water on the east end of the cave), but the area between the two caves was too rough for me to feel like it was worthwhile to traverse it.
  • Camera was on a tripod.
