FIRST HONG KONG MEAL

We landed hungry and ready to begin to partake of the delicacies Hong Kong is known for. Congee (in the bowl) and Lo Mai Gai (wrapped in the lotus leaf). T'was a delicious welcome to Hong Kong!

  • It's called Salisbury Y.M.C.A. because it's on Salisbury Road, not because they have some famous version of Salisbury steak (at least as far as I know).

    We unwraapped the Lo Mai Gai after finishing the contents. The lotus leaf was about 2 feet in diameter. I would love to see those plants and flowers! Delicious.
