OK. I'll admit it: The beginning scene was actually the latest in the day (it was shot later than the rest of the video). That's why the steam has that gorgeous golden glow of a setting sun. In the second scene, you see where the water is bubbling out of the ground. I have seen many cold-water springs which appeared to be boiling because of the water coming out of holes under some pressure, but the boiling you see here is actually boiling-hot water.
