This was the view from our balcony at the Waikoloa Hilton. The tall peak you see through the vog is Mauna Kea. See the little white dots on top of it? Those are the telescopes of Mauna Kea, including some of the largest and most sophisticated in the world.

• This was the view from our balcony at the Waikoloa Hilton. The tall peak you see through the vog is Mauna Kea. See the little white dots on top of it? Those are the telescopes of Mauna Kea, including some of the largest and most sophisticated in the world.
• You can see the telescopes a better with this telephoto view. For more on these world-famous telescopes, see the following:
• Our door opened to a walkway over this courtyard. Our room is behind the trees just right of center in this photo.
• This is the view while awaiting the elevator. We are looking south over the Waikoloa Hilton grounds.
• There was a grocery market within walking distance, and Bev and I did prepare many of our meals in our room. However, we decided to splurge one night and made reservations at the Kamuela Provision Company Restaurant, on the Hilton grounds.
• From our end of the resort, one may take the in-resort train or travel the in-resort canal in this boat to get to the restaurant.
• Untitled video
• And here is the Kamuela Provision Company Restaurant.
• As you can see, situated atop a nice little waterfall! You'll see that deer and stream down there again later......
• Hungry and ready to eat ...after that long boat ride!
• Just above the water, where you can see the whales spouting as you butter your bread!
• WONDERFUL place for a sunset! For more about this restaurant, look at http://www.hiltonwaikoloavillage.com/dining/kamuela_provision_company.cfm
• The Kamuela Provision Company is near enough to the resort's largest pool and collection of hot tubs that a leisurely stroll after dinner can find you relaxing in style.
• You can see the restaurant above, Bev in the pool below.
• And here a HOT waterfall flowing into a hot tub (and notice the moon above the waterfall).
• This is the base of the waterfall you saw back in the first photos of us at the restaurant.
• There are 6 restaurants within the resort. We did not eat at this one, but I walked past it every day on the way to the education seminar. This is Imari Japanese Restaurant. I liked the koi pool.
• Same view as in the photo #4, except that this is a panorama of 14 shots to give a more expansive view.
• The courtyard beneath our room.
• Courtyard goose.
