Any of y'all who know me well are likely aware that good gondola rides are something I greatly enjoy. The gondola at Jackson Hole is one I always have difficulty driving by without taking. I've been up it at least 4 times now, and am already looking forward to the NEXT time (whenever that might be).

I've been up it at least 4 times now, and am already looking forward to the NEXT time (whenever that might be).
  • It really is different each time: I've been up at the top at times when it was totally freezing and windy (even when it was calm and mild at the base). Today it was amazingly mild: So much so that there were lots of paragliders taking advantage of the perfect conditions (Notice the one just to your left from the gondola).
  • Bev is talking to a paraglider instructor. You'll see part of their conversation in the next video (good luck understanding it, though).
  • It's a 12-minute ride, rising 4,139 feet to the top of Rendezvous Mountain.   • There is also a small chair lift used by mountain bikers. The ticket price for the gondola allows you to take this lift as a non-biking tourist.

  • The bikers get off at the top. Tourists stay on for the round trip.
  • Last time we were in Jackson, Zac found this cool Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed it so much that time that we looked forward to returning. I highly recommend their fajitas. I think Bev and Bri were actually a little disappointed this time, but they did not get fajitas.
